5 Millimeter caliber, 11" x 17" Waterproof Positive Film is a very popular format waterproof for many screen printers.
Each manufacturing run is tested for quality assurance in order to meet our pristine standards. Waterproof Clear Films are manufactured of a very unique fast drying formulation that works with both Pigment and Dye based inks used in most inkjet printers. This formulation allows for minimal dot gain, dry on contact, and max density technology. Widely used with newer inkjet printers and high volume production printers in both screen print and offset prepress rooms to generate film positives or negatives.
JetBlack Film is the ultimate in WaterProof Positive technology for an economic price. This 4 mil thick specially formulated film is ideal for optimum density, drying time, halftone, shape, image clarity, and shelf lifetime for Epson inkjet printer.
Usage Recommendations for Best Results.
Epson or Other Inkjet Printers. Open your printer utility driver in the print queue menu to access these settings.
Set your Image settings to BEST QUALITY PHOTO or BEST IMAGE. This will enable your printer to print at its max resolution.
Set your paper settings to "premium glossy photo paper" or similar. We have found that premium glossy photo paper tells your printer to lay down the maximum amount of ink.
Side of the film to print on: Waterproof film has two sides, the carrier sheet side and the inkjet receptive side. You can tell which side is the inkjet receptive side by the getting your finger slightly wet, the side your finger sticks to is the side you need to print on.
